Data we process
The name, email, phone, company, city or postal code, site details, heat calculator inputs and result, message and consent you submit in the contact form. To prevent abuse the server derives a pseudonymous keyed hash of your email address. A similar hash of your network (IP) address is created only when the hosting environment provides a trustworthy IP. Hashes are used only to limit submission rates, are not linked to your request, and are deleted within 24 hours. Your raw IP address is not stored.
Purpose and legal basis
We use the data to respond to your request, assess your site's suitability and prepare an offer. Processing is based on your consent and on steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b)). Abuse prevention is based on legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Providers and recipients
The website and its database run on the Lovable platform (Lovable Cloud), whose database service is provided by Supabase. According to the platform configuration this site's database is located in Ireland (EU); hosting and delivery of the website may also involve servers elsewhere. Lovable's data processing terms and subprocessor list: lovable.dev/data-processing-agreement and lovable.dev/subprocessors. Requests are intended to trigger a notification to Hermine's mailbox (info@hermine.fi) and a receipt to the address you gave via Lovable's email delivery; delivery is enabled once Hermine's sender address is verified. Delivery status (e.g. sent or pending, error code, time) is recorded in the database. Data is never sold or shared for marketing.
Retention
Contact data stored in the website database and related delivery records are deleted automatically 24 months after the last contact. Hashes used for rate limiting are deleted within 24 hours. Messages received in Hermine's mailbox and provider backups follow their own retention practices and are not removed by this automatic deletion.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
